Lindsey came to me for wedding flower design because she was referred by another wonderful vendor I work with a lot, Breanna Marie Photography. Breanna and her husband caught Lindsey and Brian's special day so beautifully and the showcase pictures of my flowers are truly breathtaking. Lindsey and Brian got married at Thomas Family Farms and theirs was a romantic, candlelit, burgundy and blush affair. I just love winter weddings!
The bride really wanted amnesia roses and at the last minute, I was able to source them! They were the perfect transition color from the greens and ivories to the burgundy. I used lots of loosely gathered and natural shapes in order to give Lindsey her perfect boho romance.
This was a splendidly large wedding with 27 tables and a head table. Guests sat at crisp tables with pops or burgundy and seeded eucalyptus nestled around hurricane candles.
The cutting cake table was adorned with bridesmaids' bouquets doing double duty!
The ceremony area was a classic altar with raised dishes on wine barrels and a lovely, rustic, wooden cross.
The bride and groom had a chilly first look in the December sunshine.
Lindsey's bouquet was unstructured with cascading amaranthus and feathered eucalyptus. Sweet little pops of dark chocolate cosmos accented the pops of deep burgundy.
The thing I think I loved the most about this wedding was the amazing connection between the bride and groom and their loving and supportive wedding party! You guys, this is definitely #squadgoals!
Brian was a handsome and friendly groom with a burgundy tie and accent of amnesia rose and two types of eucalyptus, he was ready to greet his bride for their first look!
The bride had me create a floral comb for the top of her updo with burgundy, blush and greenery.
