Milana and Nathan came to me for bridal party flowers in the spring and I was so touched with their love story that I couldn't wait to work with them. Milana wanted peaches, corals and salmon pinks in her domed bouquets and so that's what I created using some of the season's most vibrant coral roses! The entire romantic and family-oriented event turned out beautifully.
I just love the look of cascading ribbon and the subtle drama it adds to the wedding party's attire.
I used salal and seeded eucalyptus to add the draping effect to the bouquets that the bride had envisioned.
Carnations had long been the no-no flower for many of the couples I work with but over the past two wedding seasons, I have seen an increasing demand for the soft, full and sweet-smelling look of carnations.
It was truly a pleasure working with Milana and Nathan and I wish them nothing but the very best! Photos courtesy of Johannah Chadwick Photography
