Lisa and Justin were so fun to work with! Lisa’s family was so welcoming and helpful during set up, her photographer Kelli Hodges is always a treat to work with and Lisa’s hair, dress, make up and entire bridal look was just breathtaking! Genesis Farm and Gardens is now one of my favorite venues!

Lisa was looking for a slightly unstructured burgundy, white and blush bouquet with some cascading elements. She sent me pictures and we shared her wedding Pinterest board for almost a year before her big day so I got to know her style and preferences which is something I always try to do with brides who book with me far enough in advance.

I used lots of dahlias, blush roses and cymbidium orchids in all her arrangements and made her bouquet slightly less structured than her bridesmaids’.

The romantic hues and slightly overcast day made for dreamy photos of Lisa and Justin’s ceremony.

Lisa asked me to do two large pieces for either side of their wedding arbor so that she could use them on her sweetheart table during the reception as well.

I used lots of locally grown ferns, grey, cream and blush roses with pops of tess garden roses and amaranthus.

The groom’s delicate bout is white ranunculus, italian ruscus and leather leaf.
