In April 2015 I had the honor of doing the wedding flowers for my best friend's little sister, Chandra. Brett and Chandra have had many adventures in their relationship with travelling and moving to Oregon and welcoming their son, Jackson Wyatt this last spring- but their journey as husband and wife started on a sunny spring day in Seattle at the Four Seasons.
The bride and groom wanted soft peaches and corals to offset the neutral tones of their wedding vision and I made sure to take advantage of the beautiful seasonal colors Seattle has to offer.
We used varying heights of centerpieces to add structure and visual interest to the table scapes in the hotel ballroom, draping amaranthus added intrigue to the domed arrangements of hydrangea, roses, and baby's breath.
The ceremony was in front of the hotel's floor-ceiling windows overlooking the Seattle waterfront and the Great Wheel, the bride wanted domed arrangements on pillars to mark the altar area and the groom waited excitedly for her to walk down the aisle.
The bridesmaids wore neutral, strapless gowns which complimented the bright spring corals of their dresses.
Chandra and Brett were truly a special couple with a unique and steadfast love for each other. It was such a joy to be a part of their big day!
